the grounds
We’re pretty proud of our quirky little place. It’s not so “little”, really, but the layout feels both intimate and expansive. In total, we sit on 20 acres, and about half of that is used for events & parking. Our giant pecan trees and ample green space offer a private, calming getaway.

the pool
Built by Fred and his father, Fred Sr., in 1969, our Junior Olympic size swimming pool is probably our most “famous” feature. There’s nothing quite like this vintage cement pond of sparkling clear water. Fred built a custom aeration system to keep it cool even during the hottest days. We also have two small wading pools with a fountain for the kiddos, though adults enjoy them almost as much. Whether you are floating, plunging or dangling your feet into any of our refreshing pools, they are the perfect respite from the Texas summer heat. And you don’t have to share them with anyone but your invited guests. (Bring your own pool toys - the ones pictured were brought by guests!)
We repainted all the pools in 2020 and added new landscaping and fencing around the kiddie pool area!

the barn
The barn is another product of Fred’s handiwork. It consists of two connected main areas: the dance hall floor (30’x60’) with a bar area & stage (additional 12’x24’), and the screened-in patio (30’x60’), which is what we call the serving/seating area. There is also an extra wing off the dance floor for additional seating (12’x60’) and an outdoor covered patio facing the pool (14’x30’). In total, about 5000 square feet of covered (and very airy) space. We have a basic PA system with two mics, radio and AUX hookup, but no Wifi/Bluetooth—most phones won’t hook up to it without a lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. (We have one but those things disappear easily so please bring your own just in case.) Bands and DJs need to bring their own PA & equipment.
